Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Repair Technician to join its Saline Lectronics team!
Repair Technician performs a wide range of repair tasks to printed circuit boards in a manufacturing environment. Repair Technician receives priorities from schedule, kanban, area lead, or manager, and works independently to complete.

Responsibilities of the Repair Technician:
- Perform repair and rework processes to printed circuit boards.
- Daily activities may include PCB stuffing, soldering of wires, removal and replacement of thru-hole, ball grid array, and SMT components, mechanical assembly, go no-go testing.
- Troubleshooting, machine set up, procedure development, training, and in line inspection of work performed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned and adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications of the Repair Technician:
- Must be a team player and detailed oriented.
- Must be willing to learn new skills, have mature work habits, and good communication, including reading and writing skills.
- Knowledge of PCB assemblies, soldering, and blueprint reading is a must.
- Must be able to read and understand customer and company assembly documentation. This position requires excellent reasoning skills, soldering knowledge, and ability to use inspection and soldering instruments to repair printed circuit assemblies.
- Excellent hand to eye coordination and dexterity is required to handle and perform precise soldering to sub miniature components.
- Prior experience in a printed circuit board or electronic assembly is required.
- Thorough knowledge of IPC standards is required. Outstanding candidate will possess the skills to test, troubleshoot and diagnose routine functional problems with PCBs, and then perform an acceptable repair to IPC standards.
