Stockroom Associate Coordinator

Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Associate Coordinator to join its Saline Lectronics team! As a Stockroom Associate Coordinator at Emerald Technologies – Saline, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our stockroom operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the stockroom team, which includes kitting material, cycle counting, inventory storage, investigating inventory discrepancies, among other stockroom functions.

Responsibilities of the Stockroom Associate Coordinator: 

• Team Oversight: Supervise the day-to-day activities of the stockroom team to ensure efficient operations, adherence to inventory management procedures, and cohesive teamwork in conjunction with the Stockroom Manager. 
• Kitting Material: Coordinate and oversee the accurate assembly of materials for production orders according to provided specifications.
• Labels: Oversee and participate in the creation of labels for materials and assemblies to maintain proper identification and traceability.
• Cycle Counting: Provide lists and direction on regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity, and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Shop Supplies/Repair Parts: Ensure timely delivery of shop supplies and repair parts to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Maintain accurate inventory records to facilitate efficient ordering and replenishment processes.
• Inventory Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly to minimize production delays.
• Purges and Reclasses: Promptly coordinate purges and reclasses of materials as needed to ensure quality and optimize inventory levels and storage space.

Qualifications of the Stockroom Associate Coordinator: 

• Experience: Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a related industry.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management systems and cycle counting procedures.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
• Customer Service:  Ability to work with other departments to insure there production needs are met
