Emerald Transportation Solutions seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Sales Operation Specialist to join our sales department. This position offers an excellent opportunity which will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, optimizing sales processes, and contributing to the overall success of our sales organization. In this role, you will manage the processes, administration, and operational support that drives our sales team’s functionality and helps them meet and exceed their target. To be successful in this role, you should have strong time management and organizational skills. You should also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Strong understanding of Salesforce Configuration is a must. Including Design, Implementation, Dashboard and Advanced Report Creation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to define system requirements and customize platform solutions.
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing sales processes, including lead management, opportunity tracking, and sales pipeline management, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for process improvements and sales performance enhancements.
- Assist in maintaining the CRM system and other sales-related databases, ensuring accurate and reliable sales reporting and analysis data.
- Develop comprehensive sales performance dashboards and reports to provide actionable insight for sales leadership and senior management
- Optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings, and sales appointments, and follow up with customers about their order status.
- Track all after-sales execution activities all the way to client delivery.
- Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for sales orders, account status, and other issues.
- Support ad-hoc projects related to sales process optimization, system implementations, and operational enhancements.
- Processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and address issues related to sales operations and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
- Ability to travel as required (10%).
- Other duties as assigned.
.Job Skills and Core Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business, business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Three years of Sales Operations Administrative Support.
- Salesforce Certified (THIS IS A MUST)
- Proven track record of refining sales processes, methodologies and tools
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools to monitor and measure sales performance metrics.
- Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive sales performance dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide senior management and sales leadership actionable insight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Software skills, including using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
