Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery, facilitating pro-active customer communication, streamlining internal processes.
- Assist in developing and updating sales process documentation and training materials.
- Lead efforts to streamline and optimize sales processes and deal closure to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall effectiveness.
- Evaluate and implement sales automation tools, CRM systems, and other technologies to support the sales team and enable scalable growth.
- Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to assess sales performance metrics and KPIs, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop comprehensive sales performance dashboards and reports to provide actionable insight for sales leadership and senior management.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports, forecasts, and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance and inform strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with sales leadership to set and adjust sales quotas, goals, and incentive programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market realities.
- Provide the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and support to enhance their capabilities and empower them to achieve their targets.
- Foster strong collaboration with marketing, finance, product operations and engineering other relevant departments to ensure alignment and mutual support for sales initiatives and objectives,
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Seven years of Sales Support and Customer Service experience, preferably in transportation, logistics or automotive retail.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales operations, sales strategy, and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively analyze complex sales data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales operations team. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve results.
- Proficiency in defining, tracking, and analyzing key sales performance metrics and KPIs, such as conversion rates, pipeline velocity, win/loss analysis, and sales forecast accuracy.
- Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive sales performance dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide senior management and sales leadership actionable insight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Software skills, including using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce a plus).
- Ability to travel as required (10%).
