Emerald is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as the Senior Director of Agency and Social Strategy. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a deep understanding of agency management, social media best practices, and their relationship to events, trade shows, and media publishing. Ideal candidates will have direct agency buy-side experience and a proven track record of managing high-impact relationships and campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Agency Relationships and Spend: Oversee all agency collaborations and expenditures across Emerald, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing ROI.
- Social Media Best Practices: Develop and enforce social media best practices across the organization, holding marketers accountable to these standards.
- Reputation Growth: Enhance Emerald's reputation as a leader in trade show social media, positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry.
- ROI Reporting: Regularly report on the return on investment (ROI) of agency activities and organic social media efforts across Emerald, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Agency Buy Side Experience: Direct experience in managing agency relationships from the buy side, with a strong understanding of the dynamics and expectations involved.
- Social Media Expertise: Deep knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends, particularly in relation to events, trade shows, and media publishing.
- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of agency partnerships and social media campaigns, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $140,000-150,000 (bonus eligible)
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
