Reporting to the Content Director, the Senior Editor will be a principal writer for the Small Business Xchange and its associated sister brands, their websites, and their social media platforms. The Senior Editor will also play a key role in repurposing of content in a variety of formats across all digital channels and growing custom content creation.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as a lead writer responsible for both long- and short-form feature writing for online, digital and Lead Gen channels
- Assist in editorial production by proofreading and copyediting content and working directly with industry contributors and freelance writers, as necessary
- Focus on content development for digital and social media platforms
- Manage the repurposing of content from sister publications and trade shows across channels, including video / audio / print content for social media, webinars, and more
- Work closely with Content Director to grow the brands’ online presence and reach across social media
- Write and edit custom content projects for customers in the industry
- Attend and cover industry trade shows and conferences, as assigned
- Represent the brand at various industry events and functions, as assigned
- Use and incorporate generative AI in an ethical and responsible manner to help fuel growth, boost production and assist with Lead Gen strategies

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation : $65,000-70,000
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
