Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Contracted Career Readiness Facilitator to deliver engaging and impactful in person career readiness workshops and training to young adults aged 18-30.
The Career Readiness Facilitator will equip participants with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to successfully navigate the job market and achieve their career goals.
Responsibilities
Deliver interactive career readiness workshops and training sessions, both in-person and/or virtually.
Cover key topics such as:
• Resume and cover letter writing
• Interview skills and techniques
• Job search strategies and networking
• Professional communication and etiquette
• Career exploration and goal setting
• Financial literacy as it pertains to career decisions.
• Digital literacy in relation to job searches and professional communications.
• Customize curriculum and training materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of
participants.
Provide individualized coaching and support to participants as needed.
Track participant progress and provide feedback to the EMERGE Workforce Team
Stay up to date on current labor market trends and best practices in career development.
Maintain accurate records of attendance and program outcomes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in delivering career readiness training or related workshops.
Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing young adults in the job market.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of participants.
Knowledge of current job search tools and resources.
Experience working with underserved or at risk populations.
