What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapy Aide position at Emerge Pediatric Therapy?
Emerge Pediatric Therapy is looking for a full time Therapy Aide for our Cary clinic. The Therapy Aide position primarily supports the therapy team, and clinic as a whole, so that the therapists can spend their time face to face with clients. This role requires organization, working in a fast-paced environment, and a love of working around children. This role would entail the closing shifts M-F (ending around 6:15pm M-Th), and is perfect for a young professional looking to work in an environment with Occupational, Speech, and Physical therapists!
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Maintaining multiple clinic organization systems: therapy treatment rooms, large gymnasium, kitchen space, supply/toy closets
- Daily dishwashing and sanitization
- Resetting therapy rooms after sessions
- Put away toys and equipment
- Food prep for feeding therapy
- Material preparation for clinic needs (i.e. print, laminate)
- Laundry as needed
- Cross training on the front desk procedures to assist as needed for lunch coverage/End of day needs
- Sanitize soiled toys and surfaces
- Collaborate with interns/ volunteers
- Keep the waiting room in good condition
- Assist in therapy sessions as needed
- Other situational tasks may arise depending on client needs
