About the Role
As an associate, you will:
Handle complex appellate litigation in federal and state courts, including developing legal strategies and drafting persuasive briefs.
Collaborate with a team of experienced appellate lawyers on precedent-setting cases across various industries.
Engage directly with clients and trial teams to preserve key arguments for appeal and provide independent assessments of litigation prospects.
Work on appeals involving constitutional law, administrative law, and other significant legal issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
2–4 years of experience (class of 2021–2023) in appellate litigation or complex legal analysis.
A strong academic record and exceptional analytical and writing skills.
Federal or state appellate court clerkship experience (preferred but not required).
Active bar membership in Washington, DC or Virginia (preferred but required within one year of joining).
