Position Overview :
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Underwriter to support underwriting operations for our client’s Hotel / Motel program. This role combines digital tools with traditional underwriting expertise to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Submission Management : Rate property and general liability submissions and ensure accuracy.
- Agent Communication : Follow up with agents to gather missing information and provide timely support.
- Report Analysis : Run required reports, including Hazard Hub, ISO, and Lexus Nexus, as part of the underwriting process.
- File Management : Maintain complete and organized underwriting files.
- Proposal Creation : Prepare comprehensive proposals for new and renewal business.
- Loss Control Review : Analyze and interpret loss control reports to assess risk.
