Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing in a Union environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Support key HR functions, including employee onboarding, recruiting, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Maintain HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring all employee data is up to date and accurate.
- Assist with compliance and reporting requirements to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects as needed to support the organization’s goals.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as Paylocity, UKG, or NetScape, along with proficiency in HRIS software.
- Understanding of labor laws, payroll compliance, and processing in a Union environment or with varying rates of pay.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to start immediately and commit through May.
