About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes that meet our client's operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and define manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency
- Lead installation of new processes and equipment, ensuring timely completion
- Recommend changes to equipment, layouts, and materials to minimize costs and maximize productivity
- Conduct ongoing analysis to enhance process efficiency and identify areas for improvement
- Develop cost estimates and standard hours for new product quotes
- Train supervisors and specialists on operational efficiency best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred) or Associates Degree with relevant experience
- 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing methods and processes, with expertise in PLC programming
- Proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks, and Fanuc Robotics
- Familiarity with RSLogix, AB Panelbuilder, CTC HMI, Compumotor, ultrasonic and vibration welding, and automated vision/electrical testing
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
