Senior Human Resources Generalist – Twinsburg, OH
Emerge is actively seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist for a dynamic client in Twinsburg, OH. This onsite role will support the local HR department of a manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth HR operations and contributing to strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in workers’ compensation and FMLA, along with a focus on talent attraction, retention, engagement, and development. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role will also take part in regional HR projects while overseeing global HR processes and programs at the assigned site. Responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, performance appraisals, succession planning, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, compliance, and policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement in global HR processes at the plant.
- Manage and track workers’ compensation and FMLA programs.
- Execute human resource and talent strategies related to recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide guidance to managers and staff on complex HR issues, including accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
- Oversee the talent acquisition process, collaborating with managers to ensure the best hiring decisions.
- Build partnerships with local technical schools to enhance employer branding.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends, recommending competitive pay structures.
- Develop and implement learning and development programs for employee growth.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and policy enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, HR trends, and regulatory changes.
- Participate in and lead regional HR projects as needed.
- Oversee safety compliance for the site.

Education & Experience:

- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors HRIS (Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Recruitment, Succession) and ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- HR project management experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in an HR Generalist or Business Partner role.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desirable.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
