What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Laser Operator position at Emerge360?
We are seeking a CNC Laser Turret Operator to join our team on B shift/2nd Shift in the Rochester, NY area to complete sheet metal production per work instructions/blueprint specifications.
Hours: 230pm to 1am- Monday through Thursday
Pay: $20 - $25- based on experience. Also offer a $1.50 night Differential and a $1ph increase potential in your first 90 days.
Job duties:
- Refers to production control document/blueprint for job specifics.
- Builds and repairs tools per job specifications.
- Sets up machine to run job.
- Installs and removes required tools for job.
- Loads sheet metal on machine.
- Runs program and observes operation.
- May make minor adjustments in computer program as necessary.
- Unloads finished pieces and inspects per specifications of job
- De-burrs and buffs pieces as needed
- Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.
Job Requirements:
- HSD/GED
- 2-3 years CNC machine operation experience
