General Laborer – Metal Fabrication Shop (Direct Hire, 1st Shift)
Emerge, a global leader in talent solutions, is seeking motivated candidates for a direct hire General Laborer Job in Lebanon, TN for our client—a manufacturer of high-quality metal fabricated products and materials for the commercial construction industry. Our client is growing and seeking additional team members for the production area. The General Labor will assist skilled laborers in execution of creating quality products in a timely manner.
Position Details
- Shift: First shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Starting Pay: $19 per hour, with scheduled increases every six months for the first two years
What You’ll Do
- Follow Work Instructions: Accurately complete fabrication processes to produce finished products
- Production Support: Assist skilled team members on the production line in teh Doors and teh Frames line.
- Industrial Painting: Perform industrial painting on finished products
- Final Assembly: Participate in the assembly of components and prepare products for delivery
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Efficiency & Safety: Work efficiently to complete orders on time while adhering to all occupational health and safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least one year of experience in manufacturing or vocational training in industrial manufacturing processes (metal or wood shop)
- Desirable Skills: Experience in heavy lifting, assembly or working on a production lines is a plus
- Work Ethic: A strong history of reliability and a commitment to quality
