Position Overview
As a Front Desk Associate at EmergeCryo, you will be the first point of contact for clients, responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. In addition to front desk duties, you will also assist with self-service treatments, including setting up clients for services such as compression therapy and PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) treatments. You will play a key role in maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of our equipment, managing client appointments, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Front Desk Operations
- Greeting Clients: Welcome clients as they arrive, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Phone Support: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, provide information about services, and assist with scheduling.
- Client Scheduling: Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar for services. Ensure proper timing and room assignment for each treatment.
- Processing Payments: Handle transactions, including payments, packages, and memberships, using the MindBody system.
2. Self-Service Treatment Assistance
- Client Setup: Assist clients with self-service treatments such as compression therapy and PEMF, ensuring they are comfortable and properly set up for each session.
- Equipment Monitoring: Ensure that all equipment used for treatments is in good working condition, safe for use, and operational before, during, and after client sessions.
- Equipment Sanitization: Sanitize all equipment after use, following EmergeCryo’s cleanliness standards to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
3. Facility Maintenance
- Towel Management: Launder, fold, and restock towels as needed to ensure an adequate supply for clients and staff.
- Sanitization: Ensure that common areas, treatment rooms, and equipment are sanitized and maintained according to EmergeCryo’s hygiene and safety guidelines.
4. Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills
- First Impression: Be the friendly and professional first point of contact for all clients, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Interpersonal Communication: Display excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism, assisting clients with questions or concerns in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Problem Solving: Handle client concerns or issues promptly and effectively, escalating to management when necessary.
5. Safety & Compliance
- CPR Certification: Maintain CPR certification (or be willing to obtain) to ensure preparedness for any emergency situations.
- Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines: Follow all company health and safety protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both clients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a wellness or spa environment.
- CPR Certification: Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification upon hire.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff.
- Interest in health and wellness industry.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with basic technology and systems (MindBody software experience is a plus).

- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. (e.g., towels, equipment).
- Ability to stand for long periods and assist clients with setting up treatments.
- Must be able to bend, squat, and move equipment as needed.
