Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during various procedures, including root canal therapy, extractions, impressions, and temporary crown fabrication, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide clear postoperative care instructions to support their recovery and long-term dental health.
- Quickly build rapport with patients, demonstrating a personable and professional demeanor to enhance the patient experience.
- Maintain and update patients’ dental EMR accurately.
- Ensure compliance with dental office protocols, including weekly spore testing, quarterly waterline testing, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations, to maintain a safe and regulatory-compliant environment.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment, upholding high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and a seamless clinical experience.
- Delegate tasks effectively and follow through to completion while ensuring promptness in meeting deadlines and schedules.
- Proactively engage in regular team huddles to foster communication and consistent team building.
- Attend weekly mandatory meetings to stay informed and contribute to practice improvements.
- Maintain a proactive mindset, responding to challenges with solutions rather than reactions.
- Be open to constructive feedback and demonstrate a willingness to grow and improve.
- Support practice growth by contributing to financial performance and revenue goals through efficient workflow and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications:
- 5 consistent years’ experience in the dental field in a management position
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Understanding of dental radiography and ability to take and process X-rays (if state-certified).
- Familiarity with dental Dentrix software
