Dental Hygienist

• Responsibilities
• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning.
• Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
• Able to commit to 2 days / week with ROOM TO GROW
• Must be able to deliver anesthetic
• Self motivated / creative time management
• Comfortable shifting into positions (i.e. sterile, assisting, front desk, tx plan presentation, collections)
• Able to form and grow bonds with assistants and DDS
• Potential of 1 Saturday / month \

• Comfortable making and taking phone calls, making confirmation calls, and reminder calls.
• Well rehearsed in patient education restorative / surgical / hygiene
• Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
• Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice is a MUST
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care
• Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices
• Licensed to administer local anesthesia
• Benefits and Pay
• 50-$60 per hour
• 3% production on top of hourly wage.
