Our clinic is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support our dental team on Sundays only. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during emergency dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take x-rays as needed
- Assist in basic dental procedures such as tooth extractions, fillings, root canals and crown preps under the supervision of the dentist.
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience
- Proficiency in dental procedures and terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and multitask in a fast-paced clinic
- Reliable transportation to the clinic location
