Position Summary
The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington is accepting applications for full-time Lecturer positions (rank open, non-tenure track) in the Computer Skills area, starting August 1, 2025. We are seeking dynamic educators to teach an introductory course on management information systems (MIS), relational databases, and data analysis related to business decision making. These are 10-month appointments with an 18-credit-hour teaching assignment per year and other expectations related to service in support of teaching (non-research). All classes take place on the Bloomington Campus.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of a master’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, instructional technology, or other related fields. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching students or training adult learners, have prior experience with Management Information Systems (MIS), relational databases, spreadsheets, data visualization, business intelligence tools, and Microsoft 365 suite of applications, and have a demonstrated commitment to student development and maintain a student-centric approach.
