What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Scribe - Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN position at Emergency Physicians Professional Association?
Emergency Physicians, PA (EPPA) is a physician-owned and operated company with a Medical Scribe Program spanning 16 locations across the Minneapolis-St. Paul Greater Area and St. Cloud, MN. Our specialties include emergency medicine, oncology, and dermatology.
A Medical Scribe works one-on-one with a physician (MD/DO), physician assistant (PA), or nurse practitioner (NP), accompanying them during each patient encounter. Scribes complete Electronic Health Records (EHR) in real time, enabling providers to focus more on patient care and improving overall workflow. An EPPA Scribe types directly into the medical record, documenting everything that occurs during a patient visit, including medical history, physical exam, patient outcomes, lab results, imaging, provider dictations, and more.
By working as an EPPA Medical Scribe, you will gain firsthand experience with medical workflows, clinical decision-making, medical terminology, and various provider approaches to patient care.
*Please note that you will be required to upload a resume and your undergraduate academic transcript (unofficial transcripts are accepted).*
