Position Overview:
As an Automotive/Diesel Fleet Intern, you will gain real-world experience by
assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet, which includes work
vans, cars, and diesel excavation equipment. You’ll work closely with our Fleet
Mechanic, learning technology systems, and processes to ensure maintenance is
tracked and completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic automotive maintenance tasks independently after receiving direction.
- Communicate effectively with the Fleet Mechanic and team members.
- Partner with the Fleet Mechanic to learn about maintenance systems and tracking processes.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet, including work vans, cars, and diesel-powered equipment.
Qualifications:
- Basic automotive maintenance experience (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.).
- Strong ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.
