Role Description:
We are looking to hire a full-time Project Manager Repairs that will pursue and cultivate strong professional relationships with customers. Project Manager Repairs are responsible for professionally and effectively addressing customer concerns and follow through to resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports within the Accounts Payable team, providing performance management, training and professional growth opportunities.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels for the Accounts Payable team.
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and financial controls.
- Maintain accurate job costing records, ensuring all expenses are allocated correctly to each project.
- Work closely with project managers and operations teams to track labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger with the general ledger.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring accurate accruals and reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit 1099 tax forms for applicatble vendors.
Requirements
- Education and/or Experience – Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (required); 3 -5 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the construction, restoration or service industry. Experience with job costing and vendor management.
- Leadership – 2 -3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in an accounting role or AP role required.
- Analytical and Reasoning Skills - Strong analytical skills and the ability to make critical decisions based on a data-supported business case. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure for basic algebraic and geometric calculations.
- Computer/Technical Skills -Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Google Suite, working knowledge of NetSuite, QuickBooks, Paylocity or industry-specific ERP.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.
- Communication Skills –- Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Vision Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents.
