What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Hospital Care Assistant position at Emergency Veterinary Care Center?
Emergency Veterinary Care Centers is looking to hire Hospital Care Assistants. Our Hospital Care Assistants are an integral part of daily operations. HCAs are responsible for helping keep our hospital clean and ready for whatever comes through our doors next.
Hospital Care Assistant duties include but are not limited to
- laundry
- cleaning kennels
- keeping our treatment area stocked
- vacuuming and mopping the floors in the whole hospital
- cleaning the public and private restrooms
- keeping our public spaces clean and safe, such as the lobby and outside area
- assisting our staff in basic animal husbandry
As a Hospital Care Assistant you can get on-the-job training between tasks to help grow your skills in veterinary medicine. Our staff enjoys teaching those who are eager to learn.
