Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including restraining animals and administering medications
- Assist with medical procedures, such as surgeries and exams
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary practices and technologies
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in veterinary technology from an accredited program
- Licensure in good standing with the relevant state veterinary board
- 1 year experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in emergency medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
