Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with surgeries, exams, and other medical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests, take X-rays, and assist with anesthesia administration
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary practices and technologies
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Licensure in good standing with the relevant state veterinary board
- 1 year experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in emergency medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
