The Position : We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Software Integration Lead to oversee and drive software integration initiatives within our Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
Salary : The estimated salary range for this position is $180,000 - $205,000 annually, based upon an individual's level of experience, skillset, and education. The Description :
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Deputy Program Manager, software leads, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust integration strategies that align with the DoD Software Modernization Strategy and the DoD CIO DevOps Strategy. This role is pivotal in unifying infrastructure, tools, processes, and workforce skills across PMA-281 product lines, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with DoD standards.
Other duties / responsibilities include :
- Integration Strategy Development
Design and Implement Integration Frameworks :
Develop scalable and maintainable software integration frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel, IBM Integration Bus).
Ensure integration strategies comply with the DoD Software Modernization Strategy and DoD CIO DevOps Strategy, including relevant guidebooks and DevOps reference implementations.
Pipeline Configuration and Optimization :
Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Establish continuous integration and deployment practices to facilitate early detection of integration issues and ensure high-quality code releases.
Lead and Mentor Integration Engineers :
Guide a team of integration engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Manage integration projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams :
Work closely with development, DevOps, cybersecurity, and product teams to ensure seamless integration within the software development lifecycle.
Create frameworks for assessing integration effectiveness, ROI calculations, and impact analysis on the CI / CD pipeline.
Implement Monitoring Solutions :
Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to monitor integration processes and analyze logs for troubleshooting.
Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate integration progress, performance metrics, and quality indicators to stakeholders.
Promote DevOps and Integration Practices :
Educate team members and stakeholders on DevOps principles, software integration strategies, cybersecurity measures, and Continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO).
