What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Emergent Enterprises?
We are committed to giving our customers the most advanced cold forming/fabricating technology available in the industry. We eagerly seek to solve our customer’s metal forming problems with our state-of-the-art machines. We provide customized solutions to your most challenging metal forming need. We have that highest adherence to extreme precision targeting primarily the Automotive markets, but also Aerospace.
Our machines are the absolute top of the line without question. As such, they will run 24/7 for decades. However, there comes a time where there is major maintenance required. Unlike our competitors which tend to be “throw-away” machines, ours are totally rebuildable for ½ the cost of a new machine. Thus, our overall life-cycle cost is always lower. Add in the extremely high machine reliability when in use, and you will understand the niche market domination that we have.
Due to the complexity of our machines, we have a very extensive training program that extends for approximately 2-years. We support your success with an extensive worksheet of machine sub-systems, and associated repair tasks to track your progress as you grow in your knowledge of our machines along with associated pay increases. Initially, you will be trained at our facility in Marion for approximately 6 months. After that, you will join another more experienced Field Service Tech with actual machine repairs at our customer’s site. We have customers all over the country with specific concentrations in the Indiana, East Coast, Canada, and North Carolina areas.
