INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES TECHNICIAN
2nd or 3rd shift
The Facilities Technician is a crucial position responsible for maintaining the smooth operation and upkeep of the factory’s infrastructure, equipment, and grounds during the second and third shifts. Job Responsibilities Include:
- Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building controls).
- Perform routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Conduct repairs on factory equipment, tools, and machinery (basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks).
- The exterior maintenance plan includes grounds, building exterior, seasonal lawn care, and snow removal.
- Good communication skills; you’ll be working with different levels of staff throughout the organization and contractors.
- Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and shutdowns as needed.
- Self-motivated, creative thinking, positive attitude, continuous improvement, and customer service driven.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Perform work exposed to weather conditions: heat, cold, wind, rain, snow.
- Climb stairs and ladders and work at heights.
- Perform work involving twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending.
- Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes, and other powered industrial equipment.

Educational Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Technical certificate or diploma from a vocational school, company-sponsored training program, or 2-year degree in technical coursework or three plus years of experience in an industrial environment
Work Hours:
· 2nd: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
· 3rd: 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
NOTE: Weekend work is all overtime with Sundays at double time! Thus you’ll have a very nice paycheck.
Pay based on experience:
· $24/hr. – $36/hr. with OT and shift differential ($1.20/hr.)
