Plumber Apprentice

As a family owned and operated business in Lima, OH since 1952, we have become respected as the water experts for residential and business water conditioning, salt and water delivery, and drinking water systems.

You would be a part of our business that services ALL make and models of water softening and purification equipment. While we provide services to a 20-county area from any of our 6 office locations, you would be based in Lima.

We have a fleet of radio-dispatched trucks to handle all of our customer needs. If you need bottled water or salt, we offer an affordable route delivery service.

This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential skills in the plumbing trade. The role involves assisting with various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.

No need to read blueprints, our installations are typically very straightforward and easy to learn.

Typically, you will be installing our water systems in older homes and thus work with all types of pipe materials (PVC, CU, etc.). Light drain work on occasion, but mainly just the pressure water source installations.

We do both residential as well as commercial and we’ll train you on the way our systems work and how to properly install.

A plumbing license would be ideal but not required.

Qualifications:

· Ideally, 1-year of plumbing experience with PVC primarily but some knowledge of copper sweat soldering is desired.

· Basic drain line installations understanding would be nice to have.

· Mechanically “handy” is the general qualification to go with installations and hookups.

· Ideally, you have been around some construction in general, but not necessarily that experienced in any one thing.

Additional requirements:

· Background Check and Drug Screening is part of their hiring process.

· A driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Pay: $20/hr.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
