Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence & Reporting Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will lead a small offshore team and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality BI solutions. This role requires expertise in PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, ETL processes, data warehouses, Azure Data Factory, and data ingestion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small offshore team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of BI solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports, SSIS packages, and SSAS cubes.
- Oversee ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Manage and optimize data warehouses to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Utilize Azure Data Factory for data ingestion and integration.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all BI solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools and technologies to continuously improve our BI capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant or similar role.
- Strong expertise in PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, ETL processes, data warehouses, and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience leading and managing offshore teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with other BI tools and technologies.
- Certification in relevant BI tools or technologies.
