What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthopedic Total Joint Position position at EmergeOrtho, P.A.?
EmergeOrtho-Triangle Region, an independently owned musculoskeletal practice, has an excellent opportunity for a total joint board-certified / board-eligible full-time Orthopedic Surgeon in our Clayton and Smithfield office locations starting in the summer / fall of 2026. Our practice offers a direct pathway to potential partnership and for ownership in several ancillary service lines including Physical Therapy, MRI, and ASC's.
Qualified candidates will possess a strong total joint surgery background (fellowship in total joint replacement preferred) and are trained to care for general orthopedic conditions. Board certification / eligibility and active North Carolina state licensure are required.

We offer excellent compensation, CME, paid time off (PTO), retirement, and much more. Our compensation model includes a guaranteed salary with a productivity bonus and the opportunity for full partnership upon meeting the requirements. Compensated general orthopedic call is a requirement at a ratio of one call day per week. The candidate will join fellowship-trained sports medicine, spine, hand, joint replacement, and foot and ankle surgeons already in place in the Smithfield and Clayton offices.
