- Requires travel to all Onslow and Carteret County locations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
- Knowledge of practice management and word processing software
- Current CPR certification
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Minimum one year of customer service experience in medical office setting, or other fast paced work setting
- Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting room and/or exam room to the Radiology department
- Prepares patients for study by dressing patient according to safety protocols
- Completes screening process on all patients prior to study
- Ensures laboratory results are received as indicated by study requirements
- Ensures all studies scheduled have correct orders and insurance authorizations on file prior to patient arrival and transmits to third party radiology group
- Utilize imaging software to transmit images to third party radiology group for purposes of study interpretation
- Takes stock inventory and completes ordering as directed by Clinical Manager
- Communicates with outside facilities and third-party participants to request and/or maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance
- Maintains compliance with Infection Control guidelines
- Complies with all OSHA mandates
- Performs other duties as required and assigned by Manager, including schedule changes and travel to office locations as assigned
