Assistant / Associate Denim Designer

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an Assistant / Associate Denim Designer with a well-established denim brand based in Vernon, CA. With over 40 years in the industry, the company partners with LA-based laundries to design and produce locally crafted denim, offering a collaborative and hands-on work environment.

About the Role :

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about denim design who is eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills in an established and creative team setting. You’ll work closely with the Head of Design and collaborate across Technical Design, Product Development, and Production teams to help bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in creating and developing denim designs, including washes, fits, finishes, and styles.
• Support in sourcing and selecting fabrics, trims, and materials to align with design concepts.
• Prepare and organize tech packs, mood boards, and design presentations for internal and external teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Design, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure design execution aligns with vision and timelines.
• Track and organize design samples, managing timelines, updates, and ensuring all sample iterations are documented.
• Stay up-to-date with denim trends, washes, and finishes, contributing fresh ideas to the design process.
