Design Operations Associate - Accessories
The Design Operations Associate will work closely with cross functional partners to oversee the execution of workflow between design and production across designated brand(s) and ensure proper execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and prioritizing the tech pack workflow, details, and status for assigned brand(s).
- Review key tech packs, identify issues, and elevate them to ensure consistency across the brand(s), working with other Design Operations Managers to maintain uniformity.
- Support the team in meeting deadlines and ensuring milestones align with the project calendar.
- Help coordinate meetings with cross-functional teams to facilitate design alignment and communication.
- Work with Graphics, Technical, and Design teams to gather all necessary components for tech packs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving sourcing and production issues, collaborating with teams to ensure brand aesthetics and design intent are met.
- Regularly communicate with PA / TD teams for approval-related issues.
- Keep Sourcing updated on product development progress.
- Use technologies to manage and adjust workflows and tasks within the Design Operations team.
- Assist with staffing support and team development.
- Attend trade shows and industry events when needed.
- Conduct market research on construction techniques, cost-saving strategies, and spot-check production for assigned brand(s).
- Travel as needed for development and production support.
- Help with special projects as assigned.
