They’re seeking an experienced eCommerce Manager who brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise in direct-to-consumer performance. Key Responsibilities
- Own Website Performance and Drive Conversion Rate Optimization Initiatives:
- Take full ownership of the Shopify website, focusing on site optimizations, marketing launches, and day-to-day maintenance to meet and exceed KPIs. Lead Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives end-to-end, including ideation, hypothesis generation, prioritization, execution, and post-test analysis, ensuring continuous improvement and record-breaking results.
- Continuously Run A/B and Multivariate Tests optimizing funnels, messaging, and user experiences.
- Data-Driven Insights:
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and heatmaps to analyze site performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Site Testing & QA:
- Build, test, and deploy experiments, ensuring changes are rigorously QA’d and optimized for both desktop and mobile users.
- Push the envelope! No idea is too outlandish if it can move the needle.
- Creative Test Design & Implementation
- Use your marketing background to craft high-impact test hypotheses that deliver big wins.
- Design test variations directly in Figma. You see a UX problem, you fix it.
- Understand the entire user journey from the landing page through post-purchase upsells.
- Leverage data analysis and UX research to inform decisions.
- Collaborate with media buyers, designers, video editors, and others to bring your vision to life.
- Drive an ongoing roadmap of hypothesis-driven testing to drive conversion improvement using web analytics, channel performance data, and internal revenue data.
- 3 years of hands-on CRO and eCommerce experience, ideally with DTC brands or agencies
- Skilled in optimizing landing pages and funnels using direct response principles:
- Proficient in maximizing conversions through A/B testing, persuasive copywriting, and data-driven design improvements.
- DTC funnel, landing pages (long form PDPs, Reasons Why pages, etc.) experience is a must.
- PLUS: CXL certification is a bonus
- Able to craft a meticulous testing roadmap for incremental improvements and record-breaking results
- PLUS: Development understanding: headless Next JS, Vercel, Builder.io CMS, HTML, CSS, Shopify Liquid
- Understand best practices for UI and UX for websites, applications, mobile, and desktop
- Hands-on experience using A/B testing tools
- Proficiency in using Google Analytics, GTM, Tracking/Events
- CVR stat analysis expert: Understand user intent and its pivotal role in the journey to conversion
- Understand the importance of statistical significance when analyzing experiment results
- Strong organizational skills and experience balancing multiple projects at once
- Self-motivated and driven with a willingness to learn and constantly expand knowledge and skills
- Understanding of site structure with UI/UX knowledge, metadata/tagging, SEO
- Effective multi-tasker; you’re comfortable wearing many hats
- Strong analytical approach to customer and revenue growth
