seca is seeking an experienced Medical Device Sales Specialist with 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the medical device or distribution sector for our Mid-Atlantic region.


In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the medical distribution market to manage and expand relationships with key distributors like McKesson, Henry Schein, Cardinal Health, Medline, & CME that serve all markets: Primary Care, Acute care, Long Term Care, Specialty market, and more. In addition to managing existing distributor relationships, you will also be responsible for managing and growing our market share with hospital systems and their non-acute locations continue to penetrate the territory stimulating and driving opportunities to our distribution partners. You will work closely with our marketing and national sales manager to execute sales strategies to that drive that revenue growth.


The right candidate for this role will bring their sales consultant mindset and excellent customer service skills. This candidate will have the ability to deliver sales presentations, and use their personality, confidence, and communication skills to identify and close new business. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing client relationships across a multi-state territory, so this candidate must be organized, proactive, determined, and diligent in follow up.


What You Will Get To Do

  • Partner with existing and new clients to sell medical measuring systems, scales, and solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and understanding of the diverse needs of the customer.
  • Develop relationships and provide customer driven solutions using both stand-alone and connected systems that improve hospital efficiency patient safety and outcomes and enable connectivity to access information.
  • Be organized and proactive in preparing for customer meetings, visits, follow-up, and deal closings.
  • Identify and deal with projects and department leaders.
  • Continually drive growth and sales through your strong grasp of the market, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate mastery in sales presentation and negotiation, driving strategic sales initiatives that align with our growth objectives.


What You Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communication, or related technical area
  • Must have 3-5 years of direct outside sales experience in medical devices or related distribution, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales
  • Proven track record in understanding and navigating the complexities of the healthcare sector, with a focus on medical equipment
  • Experience in leading sales strategies, including territory planning and market penetration tactics
  • Experience developing sales presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to build relationships.
  • Skilled using Windows-based computer programs including Word and Excel as well as CRM, HubSpot Experience a plus!
  • Top organization and communication skills, the ability to work well independently, and demonstrated professional selling skills.
  • Valid driver’s license w/ acceptable driving record.


Territory: MD, PA, OH, DE, VA, WV, & DC


Work Location:

  • Remote: travel up to 30% within the territory, primarily in the major metropolitan areas in the territory.
