Our client, a Contemporary Woman’s brand based out of NYC, is on the lookout for a highly creative Senior Denim Designer to to join their team
Description
- Collaborate with VP of Design and VP Sales/Merchandising in setting seasonal trend, wash, fabric, fit direction
- Lead all stages of the product creation process, including presentation boards, sketching, tech packing, sample order placement and CAD line sheets
- Identify key seasonal denim fabrics and develop seasonal wash runs
- Develop close working relationship with sales and sourcing team members
- Must have keen awareness of developing product into key strategic price points
- Have strong knowledge of key competitors and critical price points in our market
- Communicate as necessary with overseas suppliers and sample room
- Support Junior staff and ensure teams deliverables are met.
- Need at least 5 years of denim design experience
- Proficient in Adobe suite and Microsoft programs
- Keen eye for trend
- Strong inspiration and presentation skills
- Need strong organizational skills and be able to effectively manage time and multi-task
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
