What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echo Sonograph Technician position at Emerging Tech, LLC?
Emerging Tech is seeking an experienced Echo Sonograph Technician to support the Puget Sound VA Healthcare System This is an excellent opportunity to serve veterans while working in a professional and supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out medical cardiology functions with certified Medical ECHO Sonographer.
- Perform Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies.
- Perform calculation methods for the delivery of prescribed dose, and subsequent documentation in patient files, and verification of the mathematical accuracy of all calculations using a system established by the Contractor’s Echo Sonographers.
- Notify COR of incidents and submit to the COR the Patient Safety Report, following up with COR as required or requested.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the American registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Must be technically proficient.
- Read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Must have current certifications in CME/CEU, ARDMS, and BLS.
- Must meet all VA educational requirements and mandatory course requirements once hired.
- Oblige by OSHA regulations when hired.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in is required.

Pay rate: $73 per hourSalary : $71 - $73
