Lead Technical Operations Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 5 years of professional work experience in technical operations, engineering management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, technical troubleshooting, and managing technical teams.
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools such as LightsOn, Tachyon, and Splunk.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Alternatively, an additional 10 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
• Skills & Expertise:
  • Experience with data sources and techniques used for monitoring, analysis, and modeling in a technical context.
  • Familiarity with the principles of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare IT systems.
  • Ability to perform scientific research and scientific writing for project deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• VA Experience: Previous experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), particularly in EHRM or related healthcare IT initiatives, is highly preferred.
• EHR Implementation Experience: Prior experience implementing or supporting Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in a healthcare setting, ideally in large-scale environments.
• Government Standards & Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with government regulations, standards, and policies for technical operations in healthcare IT.
