Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Emerging Tech is seeking compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional care to our veterans at facilities in the VA Clinic network. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rates.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Provide wound care, catheterizations, and other nursing procedures as required.
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-treatment instructions.
• Report any significant changes in patients' conditions to supervising RNs or physicians.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and efficient care delivery.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control procedures, and VA guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Accurately document patient care and maintain updated records in accordance with VA policies.

What You'll Bring: 

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a veteran-centered care approach.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Salary : $32 - $34
