Emerging Tech is seeking experienced Medical Technologists to support the White River Junction VA Medical Center. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about laboratory science and dedicated to delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results in service of our nation’s veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring quality control and compliance with VA standards.
- Analyze test results, interpret findings, and report data accurately.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to strict safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
Requirements:
- ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with laboratory instrumentation.
- Must be able to pass a background check and VA credentialing process.
