What You'll Do:
- As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the EHRM-IO Deployment Coordination team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Documenting scope and requirements for deployment-related projects and tasks
- Leading small project teams to create project artifacts, documentation, presentations, and briefings to support technical deployment goals
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams within EHRM-IO and external VA stakeholders to drive tasks to completion
- Developing and implementing new processes to address client and team needs
- Identifying and escalating risks, issues, and blockers to the Team Lead to ensure timely resolution
- Supporting various deployment activities as required to achieve the EHRM mission
- 10 years of professional work experience in project management or a related field
- Proven experience managing Information Technology (IT) related projects
- Strong knowledge of life cycle and project management methodologies
- Experience in tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Experience working within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or similar federal agencies
- Experience in implementing electronic health records (EHR) or other large-scale healthcare IT systems
