Responsibilities :
Operate Canon CT and Rad X-ray equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper technique to obtain clear imaging.
Review images with radiologists and take additional images if required.
Assist with invasive imaging procedures as needed.
Maintain detailed patient records, including imaging results and procedural documentation.
Administer intravenous contrast agents following safety protocols.
Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure proper function.
Provide compassionate care and communicate effectively with patients to ease anxiety.
Initiate CPR or emergency procedures if necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
Skills / Experience Needed :
Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technology experience (preferred).
CT Registry (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification.
Proficiency in calibrating and operating CT and X-ray equipment.
Ability to lift and position patients safely.
Strong communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and medical staff.
Computer literacy to manage patient files and imaging systems.
Education :
Graduate of an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program.
Certifications :
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Required.
Licensed Radiographer by the State of Ohio – Required.
