Summary:
Creates and manages the architecture for VoIP systems within an organization. This includes planning, designing and overseeing the implementation of Cisco Unified Communications solutions to ensure the telephony systems are aligned with Summa's goals and objectives. An expert at using Cisco technologies to build robust, scalable, and secure IP telephony solutions in enterprise environments, this role collaborates closely with networking and contact center architects and engineers to build, support, and optimize integrated communications platforms at Summa. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Formal Education Required: a) Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 2. Experience & Training Required: a) Five (5) years of experience in designing and implementing Cisco IP Telephony solutions. b) In-depth knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), and related Cisco telephony products. c) Strong understanding of VoIP protocols such as SIP, H.323, and MGCP. d) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration or higher certification is preferred. 3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: a) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. b) Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. c) Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail. d) Proficiency with network technologies including routing, switching, and security. e) Familiarity with cloud-based telephony solutions is a plus. f) Knowledge of best practices for enterprise communication infrastructure and contact center operations with a heavy focus on customer experience
Unit Description :
REMOTE Design, Implement, and manage voice architecture solutions for both on premise and cloud environments. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans and present technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Ensure the integration and optimization of voice systems with existing network infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice and network issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for voice architecture and related processes.
Salary : $62 - $83
