The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for driving the sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets. Responsible for providing leadership and guidance while managing a high-performing sales team that includes business development, pre-sales, and sales account executives. Play a pivotal role in the company’s continued revenue growth and success in the market.
Job Description:
- At least 8-10 yrs. of experience as Vice President of Sales.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing a team of Sales Account Executives.
- Experience in solution-based selling in one or more of Emergys Offerings:
- SAP, ITSM/BMC/ServiceNow, CRM/SalesForce, LCNC/Mendix/Out Systems, Cloud/AWS, Data/BI/Analytics, RPA/UIPath/AA, Testing/Automation
- Collaborate with the Leadership team & Marketing and other groups as needed to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Proven expertise in prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business.
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota.
- Expertise in Account and Customer Relationship Management, Sales and Software License, and Cloud Subscription Revenue.
- Expertise in implementing and optimizing sales processes to streamline workflows and improve overall productivity.
- Expertise in executing comprehensive sales strategy that encompasses forecasting, account qualification and strategic planning.
- Expertise in closing sales opportunities through successful execution of sales strategy and roadmap.
- Expertise in understanding customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
- Proven experience in leading designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key clients, and partners.
- Expertise in developing and delivering a comprehensive business plan to address customer and prospects priorities and pain points.
- Proven expertise in developing sales forecasts and budgets in collaboration with senior management.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance and initiatives to the Leadership team.
- Proven expertise in tracking & analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Lead negotiation efforts, including pricing and contract agreements, to ensure successful deal closures.
- Proven success with large transactions and prolonged sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.
- Expertise in Demand Generation, Pipeline and Opportunity Management. Proven expertise in disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline, keeping pipeline current and moving up the pipeline curve.
- Support all Emergys and OEM promotions and events.
- Maintain CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline information.
- Strong communication (written & oral), leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation skills are a must.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
