Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Technician – VODA Cleaning & Restoration of Martinsburg & Winchester

This role specializes in carpet, upholstery, tile/grout, and hardwood floor cleaning, with the opportunity to assist in restoration projects. Experience in water and fire restoration is highly preferred, and candidates with a Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification will be given priority consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial carpet, upholstery, tile/grout, and hardwood floor cleaning using advanced techniques and professional-grade equipment.

• Assess the condition of carpets, upholstery, and flooring to determine the best cleaning approach.

• Utilize truck-mounted and portable cleaning systems for deep cleaning and stain removal.

• Provide water extraction, drying, and odor removal services when needed.

• Assist in mold remediation, fire and water restoration, and emergency response as required.

• Educate clients on proper maintenance and aftercare to extend the life of their flooring and upholstery.

• Maintain and service cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by being professional, courteous, and solution-oriented.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards for cleaning and restoration.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpet, upholstery, tile/grout, and hardwood floor cleaning required

• Previous experience in restoration (water, fire, mold) is highly preferred

• CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician) certification is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment (50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and emergency calls

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
