Dig and Delivery Specialist

Emerlin, a leading custom shed and outdoor structure company, is seeking a dependable and skilled Foundation and Delivery Specialist to join our team. This role involves crucial hands-on responsibilities to ensure successful foundation preparation, delivery, and placement of our high-quality structures. Must be able to work independently and have strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foundation Work:
• Perform layout and footings for building foundations with precision and attention to project specifications.
• Delivery Operations:
• Load, transport, and deliver sheds and outdoor structures using specialized equipment such as a tracked MUEL shed mover and hydraulic-assisted trailer.
• Carefully position and install structures at customer sites, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.
• Sales Lot Management:
• Organize and deliver completed units to designated sales lot locations, maintaining a professional appearance of all displayed units.
• Problem Solving:
• Address on-site challenges independently, ensuring solutions align with company standards and customer expectations.
• Customer Interaction:
• Represent Emerlin professionally, maintaining a personable and customer-focused demeanor during deliveries and installations.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Previous experience in construction, Shed delivery preferred
• Familiarity with heavy equipment like shed movers or hydraulic trailers is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong ability to solve problems independently and adapt to on-site challenges.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials (up to 75 lbs).
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL or equipment operator certification is a plus.
