If you are a Continuous Improvement professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Stafford, TX location we're looking to add a Continuous Improvement Manager.
You will be responsible for leading initiatives aimed at enhancing cross functional operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall quality within the manufacturing facility. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions that align with the company's goals.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Analyze current manufacturing and plant processes for inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across all functions.
- Implement Lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address production issues and prevent recurrence.
- Lead Kaizen events and handle continuous improvement projects.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
- Report regularly on performance metrics and improvement outcomes to senior management.
- Use data-driven analysis to support decision-making and improvement strategies.
- Provide training and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement among employees through workshops and support sessions.
You carefully consider all relevant factors and use appropriate decision-making criteria and principles. You seek ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete reengineering. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. You take personal responsibility for decisions, actions, and failures. You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent field
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience leading teams in a dynamic capacity
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement tools
- Proven record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement projects
- Proficiency in data analysis software
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
