Emerson's Education Services department is looking for an Educational Services Operations Manager who is a passionate individual with keen interest in driving our North America Educational Services operations. This position is responsible for providing leadership to the NA Process Systems Educational Services team located in Round Rock, TX. High level responsibilities include effective and efficient delivery of high-quality training services to our end-user customers, achieving revenue and profitability targets, and constantly evaluating our processes for continuous improvement. The chosen candidates will also have an opportunity to work within a global organization composed of certified instructors, curriculum developers, technology, sales, product marketing, etc.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Manage the day-to-day activities for the Educational Services department, including, scheduling and booking resources for factory (in-person/virtual) and onsite training delivery
- Oversight of the Educational Services infrastructure – business continuity, asset management & cybersecurity compliance
- Engage with sales and business development teams to create training proposals
- Staff curriculum development activities from the pool of global resources
- Support global instructor certification by facilitating mentoring assignments
- Monitor and evaluate customer feedback for quality and effectiveness
- Facilitate order processing and work with Finance and project managers for the monthly invoicing
- Foster staff development and career planning

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering
- 5 years' experience in process control and automation
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication, coaching, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- US and international travel are required up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of Manufacturing industry such as Oil and Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Industry processes
- Knowledge of DCS technology such as DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, and ABB 800xA
